depended ... confirmation? alot of FWF have a longer top line (ie same length top line as underline; a fast horse will have a longer underline than top line by rule) and are known for more turn than run....

scwebster - 2016-02-10 12:48 PM How would you feel about breeding a cowbred mare (own daughter of prominent cutting horse) to a FWF son who is out of a DTF daughter? Why/why not?
I bought a money earning daughter of Metallic Cat that I am breeding to our stallion, Firewater Finale this year. He's by FWF and out of a daughter of Bully Bullion. I think it will be a very fun and handy cross having ridden both the stud and the mare.

I have an own daughter of FWF out of a daughter of Dual Rey/Docs Solano mare and I wouldn't ever want to try and ride another one! I love her, but she is the hottest most sensitve horse I have ever ridden. Not to mention she won't make a right hand turn. She came with more problems then I was led to believe she had. She is by far the most nervous horse I have ever been around. It's gotten better, but someday I would like to be able to enter her and complete the barrel pattern! Could have been how she was handled before I got her, but her personality is what I would describe as "spicy".

The grapevine of cowhorse and cutters I know say ya can't pick on a Dual Rey. It does make one wonder what happened to her before you got her. I bet she is built awesome though!

Thank you! Should be a fun one if it rides like its parents!
