I ordered a 25 pound bag. How much do I feed per head per day?

I don't know if it's right or not, but I feed 1/2 cup per horse.  I know they horse that has bad feet, has improved 100% since I started feeding it.

Bumping up! Where did you buy such a big bag and how much did it cost if you don't mind me asking. I have one that has bad feet.

They say feed 1 tablespoon..  I'll see if I can find where I got that info.

I think it's 2 tablespoons. When I fed it, I got the little individual packets and fed one per horse. Pretty sure they equaled 2 tablespoons.

It was $52 for a 25 pound bag. My local feed mill got it for me. I have since discovered that just about any institutional food supplier can get it. If it's fed in that small of a quantity, I'm wondering how I should store it. Feeding 5 head though. Fill gallon ziplock bags, and freeze it?

Got me thinking so I just checked.  Each packet has appx 2 1/2 teaspoons which is just shy a full tablespoon.

I keep upping the amount I feed. I'm up to two tablespoons full, and to look at it seems like an awful small amount. Any insight?

I have never ordered it in large quantities. I've always bought the big boxes from Walmart and it comes in packets. I fed 1 packet a day and had great results. Maybe you can find out how much is in a packet.
