I was proud to receive an update on the first Cougar baby hitting the futurity
trail .. KISSYOURMONEYGOODBYE .. 2012 AQHA buckskin filly ..
Owner said she and rider/trainer had agreed to ride a little on the cautious side since this was their 4th out on this filly and were a little overcome with all the
big timers they had been watching at this big event ...
Owner said the barrel setup was worse than the NFR .. the timer is in the neck of the alleyway and you have to do a tuck and roll to cut over to the first barrel ...
This is the first go of the Futurity and they were very pleased with
the run and would be more confident when they run again ..

I thought this filly looked nice and represented your program well. I don't know Shelly personally, but have seen her ride a good bit and always admire her ability to get one running across the pen. Kinder is a little bit of a tough set up for some, but that's part of it....all different sizes of arenas and set ups is what makes it challenging and fun. Best of luck to all connections the remainder of the futurity year....the first one is always super exciting. :) |

I feel bad if I interrupted the owner of the red filly from showing the
runs her red filly ran.
With the bloodlines the red filly has ...
I bet she can kick those cans to the curb
and have to wait for the smoke to clear to see the timer ...
So .. Please do continue with your videos and I will go back to eating
my black forest ham and swiss cheese sandwiches with spicy mustard
and watch the videos on my ipad ...
Herbie ... I wished Kinder was closer to Texarkana to make it an easy drive
