Location: Southern Indiana | The Ariat Terrain is my absolute favorite riding boot. They are so comfy for everyday to ride in or wear to the barn.
As for as nice boots ariats are still the most comfortable and durable. I only wear my nice boots to shows. My current favorite boots are my resistol ranches. I wish they made more of them. NRS had 3 cute styles one year. |

Location: 100 miles from Nowhere, AR | I'm riding in Justin Gypsies right now. They're the square toe suede ones and really soft and flexible. I bought and sold a pair of Ariats and a pair of Twisted X's (after riding in the same Ariats for 8 years) because the ankles were very stiff and hard to break in. I couldn't feel my horse. These gypsies felt broken in on day 1. I tried on some Dan Posts that I think would have worked, but they were $200 vs $65 and I'm a tight wad, especially after losing money on 2 pair already. |

| I buy the gypsy boots to ride. I have to buy a new pair about every year, but the price makes that ok, and they're broken in immediately. |

| I had the Justin Gypsy boots, and the whole bottom sole came off in like two weeks of wearing them.... waste of money. |

| Justin Bent Rails! They are the must durable boot I have ever worn. When I was an assistant trainer they were the only boots I could get more than 6 months of use out of. The leather soles are super comfy and feel super nice in a stirups. I won't ride in anything else. |

Mine are almost 2 years old and still in good shape. I only wear them in the saddle tho. Maybe you got some that escaped QC? |

| I prefer a leather sole only because I usually walk a hole in them and have them redone at least once before I wreck the rest of the boot.
I've had a pair of Justin Bent Rails for almost 3 years now and I think once we're out of mud season it'll be time for a new pair. I had a pair of Anderson Beans before the Justins and I think its just going to come down to price.
You did mention having "bad feet". The best thing I ever did for myself was go to a professional and get good top quality insoles, not the cheap Dr Scholls ones. They were an investment, but my ankles, knees, lower back everything feels MUCH better. I usually make the mistake of not putting them in my muck boots and then I end up working in them for a few hours and regretting the decision not to take the 10 seconds and put the insoles in.
I'm kind of excited to get new boots and have the insoles because I used to walk on the inside of my feet and that would wreck the boot about as fast as anything. |

Location: CTX | Dan Post and Tin Haul. Have a pair of Twisted X, but the are too tall, get's my skin pinched under my fender... also have a pair of cayman Boulet's which are the most comfortable pair I have ever worn but they are to expensive to be wearing around horses/ stalls/ trailers. |

I had this happen with a pair of Justin's only used them once, I sent them back and they wouldn't fix them as they said it was abuse. No marks on the boot looked new.
Won't buy Justin again as mine were 350 boots |

Location: Lone Star State | I have 3 pair of Justin Bent Rails. Love them! Leather soles, comfortable, and hold up well. I refuse Ariats because every pair I've owned just don't last long. But everybody has different experiences.
Edited to say, I like Twisted X as well.

Not sure, but they wouldn't give us a full refund, only 40% because they believed it was from 'overuse'.... In 2 weeks? I have a pair of Ariat boots that I can still wear that I've had for 10 years (the heel is pretty wore on it because I used to walk funny, but they are still useable). |

Location: The edge of no where | Ariat - doesn't fit me well to ride in... Same issue with Lucchase. Anderson Bean - LOVE them. Not the Macie Bean line. Justins are my second fave....usually last a year. |

Justin Crepe sole are the best to me for all day concrete wear. I have had trouble with my feet in the pass but once i put the Justin on i had no more problems. |

I also had a pair of Justin Gypsy's that didn't last. The insides were falling apart and the boot was pretty cheap. I bought them at TSC.
I switched back to Ariat, but this time Fat Babies. I like them when I work, but hate them while riding. The soles are entirely too thick and I feel like I need to drop my stirrups down to accomodate them. I need a boot with a thinner sole. |

| Anderson Bean is all I wear to ride.
I love love Corrals to ride in for comfort, but they do not hold up to the harsh conditions. |
