| Jesus often prayed for His followers' eyes to be opened. Clearly, He was not referring to physical,eyes. He was asking the Father to give His followers spiritual eyes. If Jeaus felt the need to pray that for us, don't we think we should ask the Father for the same thing?
Psalm 119:18 open my eyes, that I may see wounderous things from Your law. David also prayed v 19 I am a stranger in the earth, do not hide Your commandments from me v 26 teach me Your statutes v25 revive me according to Your word v 26 make me u dear stand the way of Your precepts. V 29 grant me Your law graciously.
David clearly understood that his relationship with Gid was directly connect to the Word ,a nd his relationship to the Word clearly dependent upon his relationship with God. He made request after request of the Father to help him understand, obey and follow the Word.
Perhaps the wisest thing we can learn to practice is asking God for His wisdom relate to His very Word.
Lord, would You please open our eyes to all You want to show us and tell us today in Your Word?
For it is WITH God all things are possible.
Father God guide me today to do all things that bring glory and honor to You Amen

| Mom and I went to doctor she got two,shots i got,one I have sinus infection,she has,strep throat this second week for her. My dad has,dementia , so it's hard for her to,sleep, he talks all the time. Father God, Lay Your hand of healing grace , comfort her AMEN. I'm tending to my dad , I'm wore out. Trying give her a break so she can heal. | |
