I thought there were 2 more...They have made all of this very confusing...LOL I guess we will find out this weekend. They don't even have a list of what NFR contestants are competing.

On fb they posted that all the top ten from the NFR all signed agreement that they would compete.
As far as I'm aware, the gold buckle matches were this years version of the Exemptions.
I know there was a fan favorite vote but I think something happened with that and the person is not able to compete

It was the Match races with Lyndsey and Kelly and Lyndsey won. Lyndsey was a qualifier but they bumped-up the next qualifier as Lyndsey got the exempt into The American. Kelly went to the qualifier race.

I saw on FB the list of the top 10 from 2015 who will be competing but realized I didn't see CJ on the list. I guess I don't know why I just thought they would give her another "bye". I thought the little boy won the exemption in team roping but then they said he couldn't compete because he had to tie off instead of dally so there isn't going to be a fan favorite. Just my 2 cents but I'd love to see Ote Berry steer wrestle again.
