Wondering if anyone has one related? We have a own granddaughter at my barn. She was a 1D/2D mare now retired to broodmare. Had a foal by Dash Ta Traffic last year. I guess I am asking how common it is anymore to have one so close and not 4 generations back.

It's not common at all. He was best known as a show horse sire. Without looking him up I think he was AAA and bet he sired some AAA, but his mark was in the show horse industry. So he didn't always have the best book of mares-that would have been shown in speed events/race track. I have ridden horses that traced to him in the 3rd gen or further. I liked them, but I would consider it due to the direct sire/dam or grandsires/granddams.

I had an '08 granddaughter of Boston Mac on top and Easy Jet lines on the bottom. She was nice but she would never have been a 1D/2D barrel horse but the gal I sold her to said she made a nice rope horse.
