I would to purchase a video surveillance system or something to keep an eye on my mare's during foaling during the night and while at work.

Prefer something inexpensive and can be used with my cell phone.

Check into www.foalingcamera.com

We have used this system for years. Good support system and we can view the cameras on our phones/tablets or TV in the house. Give them a call for a quote.

That's who I went through also. It's wasn't cheap but I'm sitting an hour away from my house working the night shift and I can watch both my horse and my husbands cows from my phone. The support system was wonderful. I have it set up on my iPhone, my husband's Droid, the computer and also the TV.

I installed Swann Security cameras in my barn and around my house. I have 8 High Def IR night vision cameras with a 2 TB hard drive DVR. I can view any camera from the tv while in the house or from my phone, ipad work computer etc,  when I'm away. I am VERY happy with the quality and functionality. I can even remotely zoom in on any part of any camera. I paid right at $700 for all 8 cameras and the 2TB hard drive. After some research I opted for a hardwired system (I don't have to worry about signal loss or interference. It was still very easy to install other than the 200 ft of ditch that I had to dig by hand because I wanted the main control in the house and the barn is 200ft away. LOL)  but they do offer wireless as well.  Super easy plug and play set up.  Dang it....now it's on sale for less than I paid....
