I wish I could turn back time. But I can't and now my horse is dead.
Scott Thompson of Great Lake equine was contracted to transport my horse from Pa to Fl. His estimated time of arrival was Sunday at 4:00 pm. He arrived 28 hours late. My horse was down in the trailer and had to be dragged out. She was unable to stand and unresponsive. Scott thompsons suggestion was "to whip her or put a dog on her and she will get up". I immediately called my vet. She was seizuring due to severe dehydration and severe head trauma and was euthanized when all possible treatment failed to help.

If that would have been my horse at my place-Scott Thompson would not have been allowed to leave.....what an infuriating and SAD situation. I would probably be in jail for shooting the sorry SOB. |
