I have seen the PHT poll packs and people say they help relax their horses.. I just want to hear other people's experience with them before I purchase! Also, do you run barrels with it on? Thanks!

I have a gelding that can be very watchy and scared. He's never one to stand relaxed at the trailer and eat hay. He's always trying to see what is going on behind him, etc. Not in a bad way, just a nervous horse. I bought him a poll pack. He will stand at the trailer and now cock a leg and lick his lips. Even with the wind blowing, he doesn't seem like he wants to jump out of his skin. My husband told me it'd be a waste of money, but now he sees the difference. I don't use it when I ride, but it a personal preference.

My gelding was an oddball and didn't like it. I could tell where he tried to rub his halter off, it was all outta whack. I sold it before getting my new guy or I would've tried it on him.

I have one just like this, but the poll pack had no effect on him.

I have ran with one. It's not a total fix but it does keep them from being worse.

It doesn't work on either of mine, but one of them can't tolerate any magnetic product.

I have not had much luck with magnetic products with my gelding. I have tried the poll pack and did not notice a difference.

The nice thing is though, the phts are well made and hold their value if you need to resell. I got my money back out of mine and never had issues with that or the blankets holding up. Mine were well used but looked new after washing.

I think it depends on the individual. I have never liked magnetic products for ME. If anything, they react with my body negatively...then my naturopath told me it was because my polarity was reversed.

HOWEVER, the poll pack is what made me a believer that they can have a positive effect. Had an older gelding who was high, high energy. He would wash out long before you could make your run. I had him for months before I could get him to walk....at all. He was at the lowest end of the spectrum, jigging every where, all the time. A B1 shot did help, but IV only and that got old fairly quickly. Out of desperation, I tried a poll pack and he dropped his head and relaxed! I played with it on the bridle and just on the halter and using it on the halter seemed to be enough.

Have tried it on other horses and showed no effect at all. It all depends on the individual, but well worth trying.

 I just wanted to clarify...
I said the poll pack didn't work on my gelding. BUT I am a user and believer of other PHT/MagnaCu products. And have seen positive results with them.
