Do any of you pull blood and have it tested "just because"?

I'm having the vet out in about a month for teeth and shots for spring... just a general wellness exam. So I was curious to see if anyone pulls blood for testing? Has it offered you any insight?

My horses only go to the vet if I am concerned about something, and yep I pull blood to make sure everything okay.

I don't take my horses to the vet for a wellness checkup

Yes, I pull blood every couple of years to check our baseline.  That way the vet has a good starting point when and if anything goes wrong in the future.

Yes I do. Especially since my horses were compromised by the ADM feed.
