Good Ole Boys just Fine with Me

I started following the Whole30 program I'm Round1 Day15. They have some good groups to follow on FB but always nice to check in with board buddies that are on a similar journey. I already have seen several NSV (non scale victories) and actually can't wait to step on the scale at the end of 30 days. Finally found my lifestyle change that really seems to be a fit..
In a nutshell it's a 30 detox. No dairy, no grains, no legumes (a couple of exceptions), no alcohol, and no weighing yourself for the 30 days. There's a plate template that we (hubby is on it too) try to follow. I just feel better even after being in bed sick for most of last week with upper respiratory infection.
Anyway, just seeing if anyone else is following this program. I'm enjoying not being tethered to the need for a soda or a snack and my appetite is totally under control. I'm sleeping better and just feel consistent. Plus I love that there's no shakes, pills, drops, weighing, measuring, etc.. I'm free from my scale.. Not that it ever changed but I just always felt the need to get on it (EVERY SINGLE MORNING). I just feel free from it all. My resting heart rate has went down 18 points in 16 days. So my heart is not working as hard to do its job, how can that be anything but a huge positive?
