Some of you may remember my posts. Long story short she was completely lame from September to November and then lame off and on ever since. Diagnosed with mild kissing spine, front left coffin bone inflammation, and then months later had both navicular bursas injected.
I think it's safe to say my firecracker is back and feeling GREAT! Saturday I took her to a local playday. Decided not to do any exhibitions and just exhibitioned her coming 4yr old. Ended up putting a tie down on her after we ran poles because playday rules state you have to walk in and out of the arena and my fire breathing dragon was ready to GO! She ended up breaking the adjustment piece on the way into the arena so the tie down was pretty loose running barrels. I thought the run felt horrible (reins were way too long) but in the pics she looks FANTASTIC!
I'm so excited to FINALLY get back to racing and pray she stays sound!
