Now I've never tired one, but I like the looks of them! I know they sell at LandW but has anyone ever tried the knockoff from Carolina?

whats the difference in feel? I'm having troubles getting a hold of LandW

I have never had any trouble getting a hold of L&W when I have called them on the phone.
I have a couple of the Kathy James bits from them, and they are great bits. I haven't tried any of the knock offs, but love the feel of the ones from L&W.

You can get them right from Kathy also. PM her on FB.  She is great to work with.

LOVE the Kathy James bit! I was too afraid to try any off the knockoffs so no input there... I found someone local that had one. Tried it, then bought it.

I love my Kathy James!! I have two and want two more with different mouthpieces! I ordered mine directly from Kathy, she was super nice and easy to deal with!!! I also had trouble getting in touch with L&W.

I love my KJ bit! I bought mine on the bit auction page. I ride my older geilding in it at home and run him in a cervi short shank. He rides really good in the KJ. He's one that likes to chomp on the bit a lot, but seems to carry this one well. Mine has the short shank...I've seen ones that have a bit longer shank at the bottom.
