| Daylight Savings time. We all need light to see clearly. We depend on light to see. When life is beating us down, Jesus is our salvation. He is light. He is hope. He is our rock. He will always rescue you. Try this turn a flashlight on in a dark room, or better yet light a lighter, see the small flicker of light, that mustard seed of light can be faith light to Jesus. A mustard seed of faith, from the heart, true faith, will allow God to go before you today and make a way for you. Allow God to go within you and bring healing, peace , joy ,comfort and contentment. Allow Him to come along behind you and carry you through life's darkest days.
Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation. The Lord is the strength of my life. 13 I would have lost heart, unless I believed that I would see the goodness of The Lord in the land of the living.
14 Wait on The Lord; Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart.
Wow. This message spoke to my heart this morning. As most of you know my Mom Virginia has been sick since Feb 12. strep throat, turned into pneumonia , in hospital a week. My Dad has dementia, and has gone from moaning all the time to talking constantly. I had sinus and ear infection on top of all this UGH. Me being the eldest, and not having a 9-5 job , makes me the main caretaker. I have three sisters, Kay Blandford, Donna Barnett, Vickie Liles, THANK YOU JESUS! We have each others back. Phone call and watch out! Proctor girls are coming together ! LOL. my sister Kay come up from San Antonio, so we could all trade out staying at hospital, and taking care of Dad. PRAISING GOD, since Friday mom is much better, I'm calling dads doctor today see if we can give him melatonin , dr uped mg on dementia meds, not working to help him sleep at night. Poor mom can't get rest with dad talking. Kay had go home, day after mom got out of hospital . Vickie and Donna help on weekends they both have jobs. I was so wore out , stayed Friday night at moms house was up with dad 2 am, 4, am and I came home 6 am fed my horses, lay down couple hrs, and then had barrel horse clinic 10 am till 4 pm. I rode 6 horses. Needless to say past tired. Yesterday my husband and I took his parents to breakfast at 10 am, got home at 11:30. I laid down didn't get up till 4:20!! Wind was blowing 40 mph, so couldn't do my outside chores. Just fed and watered. Today doing my spreadsheet for taxes. Then ride 5 horses. My sharing this is to show that without my faith, my light Jesus, I would have been lost and not see the end of all this. I would have been overwhelmed, Jesus is my source of strength, my Hope, my peace even on the darkest days I can see light. All things on this earth is temporary, when we realize that our true heart our true strength is from within we have a lot more than we know. It always comes out when we are in the dark times. It will show as we handle the tough times. AMEN
My daily prayer is, Father God, guide me today to do all things that bring glory and honor to You. Amen
If you ask God to test your heart today, what would He find in the essential organ of life? Are you prepared for the dark times? Lord, test us today, so that we will be ready for tomorrow.
For it is WITH God all things are possible
Have a VERY BLESSED day, rest in Jesus, be prepared for the dark times, KNOW in your heart faith light, you will get through.

Location: OKLAHOMA | Oh, LJ. I feel your pain. Thank you for sharing this and reminding those of us that are not facing a situtaion like yours at this time in our lives. WOW, 4 sisters who step up and actually work together. Being an only child, this sounds like a grand thing to me. I know it probably has it's faults, I know you know what a blessing you all are to each other. HUGE prayer for you family and the trying times you all are facing right now. Yes God is your light and you comforter, he has your back so to say. Take care of you because you can not help those who need you without being at the top of you game. Have a blessed day!! | |
