I use Xen-Tan. Used it for several years now and love it better than any others I've tried.

I've learned spary tans usually come out way better than self tanner & seem to last longer aswell. If you have a palm beach tan near you they do $10 spray tans on mondays :

All the Beauty Gurus on YouTube seem to be raving about Loving Tan.  Also heard great things about the Tarte Brazilliance tanner--very natural looking.

I used one that my boots rubbed off so I had a strange boot tan. I was tan above and white below. It was hideous.

If your wanting the look for only a day or two, try the sally Hansen air brush legs. Its more of a makeup than a self tanner. Ive used it a couple times as im not seen showing my legs to often, but it lasts a good day maybe two and then washes/fades off in shower. I didn't have any issues with it sweating or rubbing off from my boots either. Pretty cheap to try.

I've tried the ones from Walmart and always get streaks. My ankles look dirty compared to my legs. This is a good post. My skin doesn't tan well. My arms get slightly darker but not what anyone would consider dark. The rest of my body burns. I've had some horrible and I mean horrible sunburns on my legs. I could tell you gross stories that would make you cringe. I got off topic, I guess. Lol! Anyways my applying skills to tanners aren't great. Do you guys have any tips to apply it? How many of you put it on your face? I am very cautious of applying things to my face. My face is sensitive and can get very dry when using certain products.

Younique self tanners have been out less than a month but everyone is raving about them! I have plenty of before and after photos I can share with anyone interested. No orange and none of that fake tanner smell! The great thing about Younique is that if you are unhappy with it for any reason at all, they have a money back guarantee. You can get your money back or trade it for a different product, no questions asked.
I have an open party if anyone is interested in trying it out :)

Canchaser, you've already tried the younique? They just came out with it on March 1st. If you were unhappy with it though you can get your money back, they have a great guarantee policy.

So, after reading this thread I tried Fake Bake Flawless (got off ebay like above poster said for 11.60), and I have to say it's good stuff.  Does not streak or look orange.  Easy to apply too!  You can see where it's going on and smooth it out.  Makes your skin feel soft.  I used it on my face even.  LOVE IT!!!!

Does it seem to have that "smell" to it......  All that I have tried seems to have a funky smell to them.

Keep in mind in reviews that whether a person likes a product or not can depend on their skin type, how they applied it and if they exfoliated properly or not.

"Million Dollar Tan Mousse". it is NEVER streaky and this is coming from someone that is white as Casper the ghost.
"Loving Tan" is also supposed to be good but I haven't tried it yet.

If you just need a tan for one day Sally Hansen waterproof spray from Walmart is SUPER! I get it in the darkest bottle--spray it in your hand then apply to legs, it dries very fast. I think they make one for face also.

So, I've tried a few with decent results, and the Palm Beach spray tan...PROBLEM IS: when I ride, within 2 days I have white streaks across my ankles...do any of ya'll have the same issue, and which tanners don't come off that easily?

Since I'm pregnant and not allowed in the tanning bed I've been using Jergen's. Old school and cheap, I know, but it works very gradually and when used daily it really makes a difference over time.
