I guess I should specify, NW Washington people. Looking for a good lameness/performance vet. Any suggestions? And is the brn4d website the best to find out about barrel races in WA?

Washington State University's Veterinary School is an expensive choice but they can do a lot of diagnostics and testing on your horse and they are extremely knowledgeable. They have removed splints from a few of my horses. It is expensive but I would recommend them if it is a serious lameness issue.
Rustebakke Veterinary Service in Clarkston WA was my other go to vet. Dr. Rustebakke is very knowledgeable and honest. I know they have a chiropractor come in and work on certain days too. There might be a few good vet's in Spokane area but I don't know them as well.
BRN4D is one of the best sites, so is NW NBHA, both of those are usually co-sanctioned associations too.

It depends on what side of the state you are on. Dr. Schneider in Spokane is one of the best - he left WSU several years ago and now practices in a clinic in Spokane. On the west side there are several but I'd get on the BRN4D discussion board and ask as I don't have personal experience with them. WSU does have the best diagnostics tools but honestly - they are all about how much you are willing to spend on using those tools for the most part. I've taken both horses and dogs there in a pinch but if I can go elsewhere I will - and I only live 15 miles away from them. Both BRN4D and NW NBHA have lots of races, many of them are co-sanctioned. Both associations have great finals races - BRN4D is always memorial weekend and NW NBHA is in September. GREAT races!!

Dr. Jack Root and Dr. Ravenaugh – but they are are NW Oregon (just thought I’d throw them in because I know people from Washington and elsewhere that will haul to them).

I'm on the west side. Well, actually in Canada but I'm 5 minutes from the border and sometimes its cheaper/easier to go over the border than drive to bigger barrel races or vets.
