Anybody know much about these or use them? Would they be something u just put on hinds? Or all 4? Any other recommendations for good aluminum shoes.

Most of those who use them seem to use them in front, saying they have too much grab on the hinds. I personally have had two mares (on our hard, crap ground) who were 4wheel drive horses that I used them all the way around.

Depends on the horse and the ground they are running on.

I used them on my TB when I rode jumpers. No, not a barrel horse, but they helped. I only used them on the fronts.

I have used them on several horses and liked them. I used them on the front only. They wear pretty well too
