Anyone have any experience with them? They seem like a pretty good trailer, but I haven't seen that many. Are they overpriced?

The reason I was asking is that we were looking at one and it looked like a real nice trailer and they are supposed to be pretty good, but you don't see many of them. I figured either they are over priced, or maybe there is something else about them. I asked the same question over on FB and didn't get a whole lot of feedback.

I've been looking at them as well.  They are beautiful trailers but you don't see a lot of them around.  I can only think of one person in my area that has one and they have had it for quite a few years.  It looks just as good every time I see it.

Have a little first hand experience. Friends bought a new one the end of '14. First trip out, the LQ door hinge fell off. Was able to still use. Was a very poor weld. Have had a few other minor issues.

Seen one that the side panel extrusions where put on upside down. That allowed to trailer to leak really bad. I don't think that one ever made it to the LQ installation.

Seen another one that terrible welds on some the external parts. The door hinges, the door cylinder mounts, the divider hinge welds where concerning to me.

I have from a friend in the industry, say that Twister has had some challenges and they have stopped being involved with them for now. Also learned that a fairly large dealer in the north country stopped selling them last summer.

All manufacturers have issues, but there was concern.

Hopefully, Twister has gotten things righted as I think they design a nice trailer. I would change a few things, but overall, they are nice if they can get some "fine tuning" completed.

Most of the ones I see are older than 2010.  We have one and have hauled it all over,  It has had minor maintenance issues, but nothing out of the ordinary.

There are a bunch around OK/MO/KS.

I have one that we pull behind an RV. It is a very heavy trailer and works well behind the RV, but its a 4 horse bumper pull, and with how heavy it is it isn't the best behind a truck. I live in Kansas and have been to Twister multiple times. We have had some problems with ours, but it was Tuf's before ours, so very very used. The people that I know that have LQ trailers from them like them. I do like how heavy duty our trailer is made. For as used as it was the only major problem we have had is with the door to the dressing room not staying closed. There is quite a few in my area, but that is probably due to living by Twister.

I have a 2014 3 horse LQ that I absolutely love. We downsized from our Bison 14 ft short wall 4 horse to the twister because my parents weren't going on the road with me much anymore. Compared to the Bison it is an absolute dream. It pulls great, is light, and is everything I need. Mine is the signature series so they're more reasonable on prices. I only know of two or three of them my way but that's because they're not many dealers accessible. We had to order ours from Kansas (do not use the dealer we did if anyone is interested. Can PM information). While the dealer was a nightmare, the actual company was a lifesaver and resolved every issue that the dealership had caused with a delay of receiving it.

I lived in my trailer for three months this summer while at an internship and it was fantastic. It is perfect to me.
I love my hay pod, it is sealed tight as can be. I love the side tack and the placement of my gas tank for the generator as well.. It's just so well planned out compared to my old Bison (2006). It was heavy and falling apart.

I had one for years and never had one problem with it.  Hated to sell it but I went with a bigger LQ.  Mine was an older model.  I think like with many trailers, the older ones were built better.
