I am looking for a 1998 chestnut mare. Her registered name is "Sugar Her Freckles". When we knew her her barn name was "Sugar". Her "current owner" on file with AQHA is Larry D. Grimes of Thayer, Missouri and she was transferred from Jimmy Kemp of Cisco, Texas in 2010.
I am also looking for a 1990 palomino mare. Her registered name is/was "Missin My Date". Her barn name was "Bananas". Her "current owner" on file with AQHA is Diane L Finney of Harrison Nebraska and she was sold in 2009 by from Mitch Widler of Weatherford Texas.
These mares hold great sentimental value to my sister and she would like to purchase a baby from one of the two, preferably from Sugar, but if we could find offspring of either that would be great.
If anyone knows the current owners, the mares or offspring of and could get us in touch that would be great.

Have you tried contacting the last recorded owners for help?
Were you able to pull a progeny report on either of the mares?
I pulled a progeny and owner record on Sugar before I posted my original post, which is the one that she is most interested in getting a colt out of. I was able to find an email for Mr. Grimes from an old production catalog. I was hoping to find someone who knew him personally or knew how to get in touch by phone.

Hi! I just spoke to Mrs. Grimes. They still own Sugar. She even has a new filly born 3/20 out of a roan stud!! I will pm you their contact info.
I did give Mrs. Grimes your name. The number I sent is Larry's cell. I do have their landline if you need it. Super nice lady to chat with! My grandma lived in near Thayer many many years ago, so it caught my eye and I googled. Best of luck - sounds like a neat mare throwing some NICE foals!
