I know this has been posted before, but just wanted a few opinions. One of my horses has a slight limp on her right front. She's on pasture 24/7 and will run around and play but at a trot she's limping. I noticed a few weeks back where it looked like she had a abcess that broke, which surprised me cause I never noticed her off. I soaked her foot today but after five minutes we tipped the bucket over. Is it better to wrap or keep soaking? If you wrap, what do you put in it? I also checked her leg and everything was fine. I cleaned her foot out and it looked good also.

You can buy a soaking boot, and soak the warm water/epsom salt for 20 minutes. Or you can make a homeade which isn't as easy lol (gauze pads, wrap hoof in vet wrap, seal with gorilla duct tape) and you can change it every 2 days. I highly suggest the soaking boot as the wrapping is a huge pain in the butt.

See the sticky at the top of the forum for my abscess recipe. Don't waste your time soaking. If you can't get the ingredients, buy Magic Cushion. It isn't as good as my mix but it works pretty well.
