| Have you ever wondered what effect your bit has in your horse’s mouth and throughout his head? Most bits’ rest on the tongue, bars, or internal lip area, some bits like a spade may have an effect on the pallet. Externally bits can affect the poll-nose-lips (external) and curb area (lower jaw) depending on the bit style and its adjustments.
