In Psalm 143:4 Therefore my spirit is overwhelmed within me; my heart within me is distressed. The condition of David's heart is evident. In a state of brokenness and desperation, he expressed his longing for cleansing and fellowship. His distress provides a great example of the recognition that David was unable to accomplish anything apart from The Lord. What a tremendous teaching this is for us today! Until we humble ourselves and acknowledge our need for our Heavenly Father, we will not experience the true joy, peace, and fellowship that He graciously provides for His children. David expressed a deep longing for The Lord and recognized his need for revival. V 9-10 Deliver me O Lord, from my enemies; in You I take shelter. teach me to do Your will, for You are my God; Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness.
I am challenged by his attitude of his heart and long to mirror that in my own.
Lord, may we long for You above all else and may You revive the hearts of Your people. Father, guide me today to do all things that bring glory and honor to You Amen
For it is WITH God all things are possible.

Psalm 143 1-12 is a blessed read v8 cause me to to hear Your loving kindness in the morning, for in You do I trust; cause me to know the way in which I walk, for I lift my soul to You.
