I just thought this was so cute!! Now I wish I attempted to look at my mothers and grandmothers wedding dresses when I got married years ago.
Happy Saturday everyone!!! Go out and have a good weekend!

I had boys so after the 2nd was 3 I got to thinking of how unlikely it would be that their future wives would be interested in my dress, so I donated it to a place that makes burial gowns for the sweet babies that don't make it home from the hospital. Couldn't think of a better way for it to be used and much better than sitting in a box in my basement.

I almost did the same, but a little inter voice told me to wait. My future mother in law made my wedding dress so I wanted to hang on to it just in case I had a girl, I had two boys also no girls, but I thought one day one of my boys will have a girl, my oldest has 3 boys and my younger son has a girl.
Your were very sweet to share your dress in this way.
