After my vet recommending it a couple of times and me dragging my feet (not a big believer in supplements) I am happy to say I can actually see improvement in the horses on it.  I can buy a quart for $70 at my local feed store and have not found better pricing anywhere.

I would like to try the human formula.  Any recommendations on where to buy it from?

You can get a gallon on Amazon for around $250. And free shipping. So it's a tad cheaper for ya.

I have tried the human one, and I have to say I didn't feel much difference, but my husband swears by it. I do have to admit I didn't take it every day. I'm not good at remembering my supplements.....   I do know I prefered the grape one.

I used it for awhile because an older rancher told me how much it helped him. It helped me, too, but I couldn't take the gel like consistency.

I took the human formula for almost a year and I felt a little better but not enough to continue using it. Do not take the horse formula as it has too much sodium in it.

My feed store sells both the human and animal versions.  The human version helped me when I was taking it.  My back problems are so severe now that I'm beyond those type of measures but it did help and was worth the money for what it did for me.

We take it. Love it. Has helped my knees immensely. I was a long distance runner until I shattered a knee cap.
The horse formulation has changed in the past few years. It's not near as high in sodium. It use to taste terrible, but it's a lot better now, almost better than the human version.
Internet price on a gallon of horse is $252.88. RunningHardProducts.com

Thank you for all of the replies.

Do you take the animal or human version yourself?  I can get a gallon of the equine version locally for $209/gallon (so, no shipping, yay) but have not found the human version anywhere locally.

We take the human stuff. Use to take the horse stuff, but that's when it had too much sodium & it tasted terrible.

I have been using the HU formula for years and I swear by it. I was a legal secretary for over 25 years and my thumbs finally developed arthritis - without Lubricyn, i can feel and almost hear the joint rubbing and my hands ached all the time. I dont measure how much I use, part of a tsp, but my hands dont hurt and the bones dont feel like they are rubbing together. I should sell it since I know it works!
