Today was my first barrel race in, oh I don't know, a year and a half or so. Weeelllll, we ran our fastest time yet (17.36) with bobbles, and a fully 1/2 second faster than the last time we ran that size pattern. So needless to say, I'm thrilled, and so proud of my mare. It kind of makes me sad that I'm breeding her and won't be able to run her, and on the other hand is that is the reason I want to breed her...because she is such an AWESOME horse and gives her all. Great run from what I can tell. I was confused when I read what happened at the timer but then laughed when I actually saw it. Never seen a horse do that!

Me either! It was kinda funny...after the fact. LOL. It felt so good to be back! We had some bobbles, but it was a good run for after that long off.
