| Corona cartel son x a grand daughter of zevi..Thoughts? I realize that is fairly broad, but It seems people have strong feelings toward Zevi and I have no experience whatsoever.

Location: Oklahoma | I have a famous gold coin out of a daughter of zevi. Love her she is a little on the hotter side but she is an amzing athlete and would take 100 more like her. She is the one in my avatar. |

| Zevi and Cornish Prince horses have always been known for being hot. But they have also produced lots of nice barrel horses. |

| All the CC I've seen I've really liked, but I haven't truly known their temperments, do they tend to be hotter too? as a great grandson of Zevi maybe it would be diluted enough to not matter much |

| Zevi's broke down a good bit on the track earlier and easy...they were also known to be pretty HOT.
Not sure from a barrel stand point or far back in a pedigree... |

Location: Tulsa, Ok | I rode an own son of Zevi for many years. He was out of a daughter of Rocket Wrangler. He was hot, but also one of the most athletic and honest horses I have ever ridden. He had enough sense that we were running barrels on him in the winters while my husband was still running him on the track in the summers. 100% business when he went to work be it on the track or in the arena. From my experience Corona Cartel offspring tend to have a lot of sense, which I think would make a good mix with the Zevi line.

Location: Oklahoma | This is the mare I have all business in the arena. Not very fun to ride during the work normally we just pony her. But I would take another Zevi grand daughter if I had a chance being as I like this mare so much.

Location: North Dakota | I own a great grandson (bottom side) by Zevi, out of a Sun Wind & Fire mare and he can get to be a handful if I don't keep up on my ground work. He's a little spooky (not my favorite horse to take on a trail ride), VERY "watchy", trusts no one but me and my husband, and can get a bit hot if I'm not careful. But he moves like glass and is athletic as heck. I love him to pieces and will never part ways with him unless I absolutely have to. I've had several people tell me those traits come from Zevi, but I'm not sure since he's the only one I've ever had that goes back to him. |

| I have a theory that Zevi was a possible PSSM (type 1 or two) carrier and that's why everyone dislikes them...I know of two (one is my own) that are positive from it and both go back to it on his side. Just my theory but I don't have enough horses yet to figure it out! All the dealings ive had with Corona Cartel horses are that they are great to ride but lazy and laid back, not really my kind of horse |

Lazy and laid back is okay to me as long as they like to run barrels. So maybe cc x more racing type lines would be a nice cross. Loving all the input, thanks so much! |

Exactly why I see Corona Cartel as a perfect cross on hotter bloodlines. |
