| With all the important political decisions our country is facing in the next year or two, major elections, etc, I have some words of encouragement for everyone! Please be informed about your decisions. I really don't care if you're Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, conservative, liberal, blah blah blah. But please, please do your own research, read from good sources, watch all the news channels, and understand the history of the political party you decide to stand behind. KNOW the definition of your party's beliefs. UNDERSTAND the part that party plays in the future, and the past, of our country.
There is nothing worse to me than to be verbally attacked by someone that doesn't know why they think of things the way they do. "My husband says," or "I saw it on Fox.", or "I'm gay, black, straight, white, I work in the oilfield, so by golly, this is the only way I can see this issue, and I know that because MSNBC presented it this way."
Look into the candidates, whether Presidential and otherwise. Look into all of them. Read about their lives, read about their connections, do the math on your own.
It is our legal right to vote. Vote intelligently, and from the heart. Be informed, and for God's sake, don't rely on anyone else's interpretation!!!!
Nothing, and I mean nothing, makes me want to have a fist fight faster than somebody that doesn't understand and can't explain or discuss their own opinions or decisions. Those people seem to be the most vociferous and freak out when questioned, because they just aren't educated about their own choice.
Educate yourself, please. Ask questions. Passion about a topic is wonderful, and I love those debates and discussions, but without education they're completely pointless and the complete ruination of family dinner.

| Also remember, the next President will most certainly nominate 1-3 Supreme Court Justices. Most Presidential and congressional mistakes can be corrected in 2 to 4 years. Supreme Court Justices will decide the fate of your constitutional liberties for a generation.
If any of the enumerated rights in our Constitution mean anything to you, you better make sure that whoever you mark on your ballot will appoint a constructionist jurist. Your children's rights are on the ballot.

That is my main issue in this election. To me there is only one that I would trust with this.

I certainly don't want to vote for the one who has admitted that he has never even READ the Constitution.
