Psalm 119:49-64 remember Your word to your servant, upon which You have caused me to hope.. This is my comfort in my affliction , For Your Word has given me life. 64 The earth, O Lord, is full of Your mercy; Teach me Your statues.
David asked God to "remember the word to Your servant". Remember your promise to me. Not just any promise, but the one God had caused him to hope.
David listed in Psalm 119 some of the benefits the very Word of God had in his life. It had served as his hope and his comfort and created a song in his heart.
Everytime we face challenges in life, remembering comforts God has provided in the past and the times He has proven Himself faithful can comfort us in the present.
God, remind us of Your constant presence and ministry in our lives. Remind us of all Your precious promises to us. Would You use Your Word to comfort and guide us today?
For it is WITH God all things are possible
Fathwr God, guide me today to do all things that bring glory and honor to You Amen
