Yes! I haven't been on here much at all the last few years but, it's been a nice break from facebook lately.

Lots of good memories here!

I remember a thread from years ago when everyone posted their join dates. I don't even remember how to look that up anymore!

Been here from the very beginning, and then the "other place" prior to this one.  Tin foil hats used to be all the rage.  Love BHW and have met so many great people from this site, either through the forums, saddle sales, and horse sales.  Thanks for all of the good times and laughs, ladies and gents.

I remember Mama under the Tree... and I remember the year I posted Friday Kittahs every week for an entire year.. (that was a lotta work!) I'm glad people remember it. Thanx to all that do!!
I also remember Riden's weekly recaps... She is without a doubt, the best writer here.

I've been here a long, long, time.   I know there's a ton I'm forgetting.
if you've been here a long, long time... What does that say about me?
Well, look what the dog drug in! Where you been, TxDad? You still operating that BBQ place? I'm in Texas now, and trying to become BBQ snob.
it was chicken fried chicken and banana pudding if memory serves me correctly.

K J and I have a little cafe in Canyon, Tx.  Serving good home style cooking.

I was in Bastrop a few months ago, I should of looked you up.

Lulu anything is possible, but I did see Barney about 70 miles south of here back around thanksgiving.

I just looked it up. Way the heck up in the panhandle. If we can swing it, I'd like to stop in and put on the feedbag sometime, if we ever pass through. Let me know next time you and KJ are in the area.

Been here from the very beginning, and then the "other place" prior to this one.  Tin foil hats used to be all the rage.  Love BHW and have met so many great people from this site, either through the forums, saddle sales, and horse sales.  Thanks for all of the good times and laughs, ladies and gents.

I forgot about the "other place"! Crap I don't even remember what it was called but I do remember all the drama and the creeping and virtual mud slinging haha.

Well, I kind of read through everything and didn't see where "Mac" was mentioned.  Now this guy was funny and the perfect straight man for everyone's humorous remarks.  BHW was never as much fun after he signed off.

Ha, I just looked it up and I've been here since 2004 too.

NonaY is from California.  I am thinking the person whose son was paralyzed is from Oklahoma.  I am not sure why I think that.  I sure could be wrong.

GLP - 2016-04-24 5:29 PM There was a lady whose son was in a bad car wreck and was paralyzed, I think her name was Nona Y or something like that. Does anybody know how she is doing?

NonaY is from California.  I am thinking the person whose son was paralyzed is from Oklahoma.  I am not sure why I think that.  I sure could be wrong.

Yep, I remember now. The lady I am thinking about was Y maybe?

Who remembers;

The Rockies Jean thread?
Mama Under the Tree?
The man at the gym won't ask me out.... Why?
I painted this breast collar myself thread....
Sarah Palin's bus tour threads...
As the Barrel turns drama recaps...

I've been here a long, long, time.   I know there's a ton I'm forgetting.

I'm pretty sure my first late night BHW binge happened the same night as mama got left under the tree. I've been hooked ever since!!??????

What about Sheepdog?

I'm still trying to figure out if that was a Komondor or a sheltie.

Sheepdog was a BB. And I think he ended up marrying a BB. I think you would have liked him Komet.

T turning 3 was on here a bit a year ago or so, she helped me tremendously with CC and the stones, I used a product she put together called Stone Breaker. Broke my heart, she also had a mare with kidney stones, had to have her put down just a little before CC had her surgery to remove her bladder stone.

It has been fun, even the political arguments.  I am retired now due to breaking the same ankle for the third time.   I now have more metal than bone.  Figured it was time to hang it up.  But it was my life for 33 years.  When I watch a rodeo I can smell the arena, I can feel the feelings you get waiting to go down the alley way, the excitement of bursting into the arena from the alley, the sound of the crowd.  So, retirement is not so bad because I can watch a rodeo on TV and relive it all over again. Good times and good memories.
