Location: SE Louisiana | .... for those that know me... This was an outstanding accomplishment... I've been hidden and homeless for 7 years...
But I should have known....... He learned Chess from the same man I did... (our dad)... My bad..
Long story-short.. I told him late last year I wanted the property my father transferred into my name to belong to someone else. I worked my a$$ off on that place for 25 years and I hated every day of it. So.. as of today.... It belongs to him...
Now I am a FREE man... I can go where I want... and I can die without worry...Except... There are still a lot of horses out there I have yet to groom...
I always wanted to see Texas..... I'm pretty sure I can lose myself there.. |

You have NO IDEA!! I remember playing chess and shooting hoops with him in the mid 60s.... And then, he went off to war.... When he came back..... I encountered a different person... This was not my brother anymore.... He was changed... I could see it in his eyes....
He went on to get married and sire children.... and live his life... But I had lost something very dear to me...
Until... Yesterday..... he is back!!!
You have No idea what this means to me....
I actually feel like... living again.. This after so many years of just sitting here, waiting to die..

Location: SE Louisiana | Would you like to hear about the Most special thing I ever saw him do? Not too long after we moved to Missouri, My mother bought a Dobi female from what we now know as a puppy-mill... Well, eventually we mixed her up with a suitable male... and she had puppies.... Well.... only mom was allowed near the puppies. If dad or I even LOOKED that way, we were greeted with the snarl from he||....
One night I woke up.... oh, somewhere between 1 and 2 AM....I heard a voice.... I walked down the hallway to the living-room... and there was my brother... He was still in the Army and stationed at Fort Carson..... He caught a week off and decided to come visit....... And he was sitting NEXT to a dog that had never sniffed him before... Didn't have a CLUE who he was.... And he had an armload of puppies!!! Shea (the dobi) was just looking at him like he was from Mars.... LOL!! Yeah.. that's my brother!!! |
