| I'm not well versed in shivers but my mare had body tremors and lots of other symptoms and she came back positive for PSSM Type 2, message Paul Szauter on FB hes with the company Equi-Seq and he can get you a blood test instead of a muscle biosopy. saved my mares life |

Location: NE Texas | Definitely could be PSSM. I know others have had a similar experience to tremors and shivers in their horses due to contaminated feed and have posted videos of the muscle tremors. |

Location: Florida.. | One of my mares had stringhalt.. its pretty similar , I had her on a high fat low suger diet.. when farrier came he had to not raise her hind legs up as high and it would stick.. make sure they are aware because she wasnt kicking out at him..its in their leg, rump and hip (muscles).. you may take off grain altogether.. its like Pssm but Epssm.. I would check stifle though first..it could be just catching stifle..

Tremmors, trouble under saddle (ie moving forward, tired easily, very reactive0 total change in attitude, tied up a few times but i didn't know it unfortunately, slight offness but you wouldn't know unless you looked really hard, hard muscles ect. If the horse is type 1 you add LOW sugar and HIGH fat and if they're type 2 Low sugar and HIGH protein. Some horses show lots of symptoms, others 1 or none. The second I took my horse off oats and any sugar in her diet she stopped shivering |

Location: Ohio | She has none of those symptoms, she at this time in the right hind lifts into the flex postion on her own of a soundness flexion and then puts it down. |

| My gelding has it. He is 19 years old and has had shivers since he was 5. I just make allowances for it. Harder for him to back up if he has been standing for a while, like in the trailer. I move him forward and then he takes a sec to get it together. It is worse when I don't keep him in shape. The more in shape, the less it bothers him. It sure hasn't stopped him from doing anything. Its in his right back leg so we worked on that more when I was riding him all the time. When his feet are done the farrier keeps the foot really low so no issues of the jerk and shivering. |

| I never had him "officially" tested, but he displays all the classic symptoms. He is fed a good quality 6% fat 12% protein feed and alfalfa cubes. Keeping him in shape has a bigger effect than anything else. |

| He is a barrel horse, but hasn't competed this last year because I haven't had the time to put into riding like I should. Good luck with your horse.

You won't be disappointed! Simply Equine has been "simply the best" thing I have done for my horse that was a mystery to my vet. Now that the kidneys, adrenal, and digestive system is working properly he is back to clicking again! |

Location: Ohio | I am gonna send Monday to them, I have a good friend here in Ohio that might feel the grain I feed is a contributor to some of all my horses issues! |
