We are going to be linebreeding on Diamond Charge so I wanted to find out more about this line. It's an old and difficult to find bloodline and I'd love to hear from folks who have had experiences with it. From the research I've done it seems like he was fast, stout, and sound.

Merridoc has Diamond Charge and they were NOT slouches!  I had an own son of Merridoc.  He was a big, well put together bugger.  Ran on the track until he was 6 and retired sound.  He was a go getter, really an aggressive runner and the funnest horse I've had.  He could be a goofball, but really wanted to work.  In fact, he would overwork sometimes and get ahead of himself when I was putting him on barrels.

Edited to add:  he was a free runner and I've never been on a horse that turned harder.  The faster you sent him to first the better it was, he was dirty fast and could get under himself and turn like none other I've had.

Thanks for sharing about him. Don't seem to see this line very often.
