Location: where ever my L/Q trl is parked | I'm in the process of buy a new mattress. At the present I sleep on a Memory foam and love it, but it's wearing out. I was wondering about this Purple mattress that is polymer and polyureathane foam; it's kind of pricey, but you get what you pay for? Has anyone had any experience with them? All input is appreciated very much. |

Location: 100 miles from Nowhere, AR | We just bought a new mattress from Brooklyn Bedding after doing a lot of internet research. It was $850 for a king, plus a set of sheets, a pillow, and free shipping. Plus, it's made in the USA--they have their own factory in Arizona. The top 4" are latex foam, which has instant give and and release and some bounce to it--it's 10" altogether. We got the soft because I'm a side sleeper and we LOVE IT. It comes in soft, medium, and firm. My back and hips had started hurting from our old mattress, and within a few days, the pain and stiffness were gone and I was no longer waking up needing to change positions 23432 times a night.
From what I read, the "major brands" of mattesses are mostly expensive ripoffs. |

Location: Texas | I had never heard of Brooklyn Mattress but after your comment I decided to check it out. With all of the positive reviews, dang now I want one. I was wanting a new mattress for the day bed in our spare room anyway. The reviews on their website are amazing. |

Ok...we are shopping too and now I'm really really looking at the Brooklyn Bedding! I'm in debate on the medium or soft. I have rods in my back and current mattress gives me lower back pain...it's a crappy ol mattress that really needs to go. I think I would love the feel of the soft...but will it be good for my back I wonder?
hubby weighs about 175. I think he would prefer the soft...sleeps on his side a lot. Hmm... What do you think T4L? |

Location: Opelousas, LA | I just bought a Novosbed mattress last month. I really loved it at first compared to what I was used to but after a few weeks I realized it was not quite soft enough for me. I e-mailed the company and they sent me a topper for it that zips right in to the matress cover. The topper was free and took about 4 days to get here, so far I really like it.
Another company I was interested in was Loom and Leaf, but I got 10% off on the Novosbed so I went with them. |

Location: 100 miles from Nowhere, AR | Call them and talk to them? The good thing is they have a 120 day "return" policy. You give the mattress to charity and they refund your money, so even if you pick the wrong one, it's no big deal to swap. The soft to me is just the right amount of softness and support, I can't imagine anything firmer working for how I'm built (curvy), but they say the medium works best for most people. |

Location: Oklahoma | I am looking at Brooklyn Bedding now. We have a tempurpedic that is getting up there in age and starting to sag. Being 22 weeks pregnant, I'm now having lower back pain and my husband hates our mattress. We need to bite the bullet and get a new one, but with moving, selling horses, the baby, it's the last thing I want to do |

IMO no, but I'm cold natured and sleep under a blanket all summer. My husband runs hot and hasn't complained though. Reading up on this stuff, latex is supposed to sleep cooler than memory foam. |

Location: Do I hear Banjos? | They had a special right there on the website. It may be over with? You should do the online chat/help with a representative. Tell them your friend told you about the deal with the free sheets and pillow and that you would like that same deal in order to buy the mattress now...otherwise you would wait for that offer to come up again. I bet they give it to you.
Worth a try right?
We LOVE this mattress. My only regret is that we didn't buy one sooner. |

Location: Do I hear Banjos? | We went with the soft. I almost thought we should get the medium...but after reading reviews etc we decided the soft might be better. I also figured if I was wrong we could use the guarantee.
Well...it's really the right amount of comfy softness but with good support. I have surgical rods in my spine and I wondered if it would be the right support. It's fantastic. My hubby sleeps on his side a lot and this has been great for him too. I'm just really very happy with the choice. I'd not want it firmer. |

Awesome, thanks! After reading reviews on here and on other sites, I'm just about sold on this mattress, especially for the price! I REALLY want the soft, so I'm glad to hear you like it |

| I absolutely HATED the sleep number we had. The sides broke down and had to be replaced, it always leaked air and it felt like you were falling towards the middle. It went in the guest room and I got a plain 'ol pillow top. |

Location: Ky | We have a king Tempur-pedic that we did the 90 day trial on because I just couldn't see dropping $4K on a bed. But we kept it and it's been several years now. Wouldn't want anything else now. If I ever have another LQ horse trailer it will have a Tempur-Pedic mattress in it. |

Thanks Jake
Off to research the Brooklyn since so many thumbs up on here. Especially since my "just up the road" AR buddy still loves hers a year later!
Also read alot of good reviews for Snuggle-Pedic----anyone know anything about those? It's way way way past time for a new mattress. I'm too embarrassed to even tell y'all how old mine is

We ordered the yogabed mattress after trying our neighbors out. LOL It is a bed in the box, but it is latex free and has a 10 year warranty with free shipping and a 365 trial. It is better than anything we have ever tried. When we are away at NICE hotels, their mattresses don't even compare. We love ours. We also got two other friends to buy one and they are equally as impressed. A king mattress was about $850 for us. We bought it when they ran a special for $125 off. BEST MATTRESS EVER!
