That is really neat, but I don't understand how that outcome can be, as Monarchos ran the second fastest Kentucky Derby after Secretariat? Even though it is simulated, shouldn't that automatically make him the winner? Or are they estimating that American Pharaoh would pickup the pace to compensate for it? I don't completely understand simulation, so I may be asking assinine questions.
I agree ... I ass u me d they wrote the program with their derby win times but as usual it looks like someone is promoting American Pharoah as a stud ...
Just a quick glance at the derby times shows that 16-17 horses had better winning times than American Pharoah ....
this may be one of those races programed by someone where everyone gets a trophy .. lol
Page 1 contains the 20 horses in the simulation ..

Agreed! It would be interesting to see them run together with their actual derby time.
