That is a little confusing to say the least. You did not mention that she missed the finals by .051 seconds. Running against the caliber of horses that she ran against shows the quality of her breeding. She has a full sister too. A great trainer is an advantage.
You also need to add that the consolation at Ft Smith included the Derby horses as well as the Futurity horses. She also ran in the Finals at DIAMONDS AND DIRT which was for five year olds. She certainly has not been out classed by these older horses.

Congrats too you !!!! I would also like to congratulate my daughter on an amazing job , she finished 47 in time trials in futurity on her little mare she broke and trained ! And in the derby she ran 16.8 and verily brought the second barrel over on a horse she broke trained and rode . Then ended up 7 in 1d in the constalation race . Davie I am so proud of you !!!! Way to ride !
