Two years ago, one of my futurity mares clipped her leg on a metal barn, severed a tendon, and missed her artery by a quarter of an inch. The vets offered us a surgery with a fifty percent success rate, and we decided to take it. Now she is five, and we just got through all the PT and follow up appointments. We have been hauling for about six months and she has come so far. I took her to a jackpot yesterday, just to exhibition and she clocked a 17.06 on a standard pattern. I am so proud, and I just can't wait to see what happens next.
