hey all I'm building a new barn and its out in the open ontop of a small hill about 150 ft from my house, just wondering if I should look into having lightening rods installed. Not even real sure how they would work? Any suggestions? Happy Tuesday!

Here in Iowa all the old wooden barns had lightning rods. I have never seen one on all the new steel sheds.

On a hill yes I would install lighten rods. We live on a hill and have lost 3 beautiful oak trees to lighten in the last 5 years, just had the prettest oak get hit about 4 days ago. Just sick ove this, so you would be better off installing them, you just never know
