Has anyone delt with a navicular fracture? What was the treatment you did? Pentosin an osphos? I know she will be most likely only be broodmare sound if that.. It sucks because she's only barely 3 and very very well bred

A year ago my good horse fractured his navicular bone. Vet explained that it will heal in one of two ways. One with bone and the other with fibrous (I think). She said bone is best and will make full recovery. Fibrous is not as strong and may not be sound. My recovered after 6 weeks and was back in shape running about 3 months post injury.

I would give THE a try. NitrOxide & NutraWOUND. Both are on sale this month and both have a 45-day money back guarantee.
