Len Brown Never Tight cinch... love it because it works. It keeps my saddle from rolling and it doesn't have to be tight to do its job, so my horse can breathe really well with it.

I like the Classic Equine Mohair.  I personally have the roper style but would also use the straight.
I also love the Professional Choice Wool.  THe one I have is a straight.

Both have worked on numerous different horses and they seem to like them and are not cinchy (bad saddle fit can also cause cinchy issues).  My mom was having issues with her saddle slipping. She had a cheap $10 cinch she bought at an auction.  I went and got my classic equine mohair and had her try it. It fixed her saddle slipping problem. and that was over a year ago and my cinch is still on her saddle :)
I will not let annything with neoprene touch my horse after a bad experience years ago and a horse that ended up sore and cinchy.

For mohair cinches I like Dennis Moreland's roper cinch (DM Tack). It is wider throughout the whole length of it than most mohair cinches. Up until recently this was all I would use.

A few months ago a bought a Classic Equine Sensorflex roper cinch and I love it! It's so soft. It's easy to wipe the hair off of it when they're shedding and easy to rinse it clean. They sweat more under it than mohair, but it seems more comfortable/soft to them.

Just got my first 5 Star cinch and I really enjoy it. It's very soft and my horse hardly sweats.

Total Saddle Fit, hands down. They're expensive but no other cinch has come close. It saved my butt on a saddle that fit my horse, but the rigging was too far back for him, so the saddle would want to slide too far forward. This cinch helps keep any saddle in the correct spot so their shoulders can move freely.

DITTO, read about it here on BHW, bought one and LOVE it! Expensive but worth every penny.   I made a run the other day and my friend said I can see daylight, you are not tight.  Made my run, saddle did not move at all, stays snug underneath and loose on the sides.

I also love the never tight cinch. Really worth every penny. I'm slowly replacing all cinches on our saddles with them.

My favorite is a classic equine 100% alpaca is so soft and they don't seem to sweat much I feel like my horse is way more comfortable. The last I bought was an air ride because I would have had to custom order another alpaca and I needed it to ride my horse the air ride was also significantly cheaper and my trainer swears by them. Well fast forward to now and my air ride is ripped I have no idea how it tore but I take very good care of my stuff it also makes my horses super sweaty and I feel like it kind of sticks to their skin. I wish I had just ordered the alpaca in the smaller size and now I have to buy one anyway lol

Do any of you use tie downs with this cinch? Would it affect it at all?

What kind is yours? I bought the fleece one, and honestly I am not impressed with it. It is not absorbing the sweat, I think it is synthetic fleece, almost tempted to light a match to it to see if it burns or melts.

Oh i am glad you posted this, I was on the verge of buying a fleece lined one. So you do not think this girth is worth the money at all or just not the upgraded fleece?

I haven't noticed any difference with a tie down. Love the cinch.

We too use tiedowns & martingales with no issues with this cinch.

I like the design, I like the fit.

Not so sure on the quality.

The leather is very hard, and the fleece is crap.

I am not sure if I would buy another, I haven't decided if I am going to ask for a felt one instead of the fleece

Well now im not sure if I want to buy one either. Their product does not have many reviews so Im glad to hear some good and bad before i spend $160 on a girth. Might as well keep saving up for a never tight cinch

Love my 5 Star cinch. I like how they factor the stretch into their sizing so when you measure your horse and order the size, it measures that length when under normal saddling tension and sits in the perfect spot.
