How come people aren't talking and feeding the Seminole line?? I never see any threads or people talking about feeding it.. It's the most expensive feed in my feed store!
I currently feed Pro Force Fuel, and love it but i just don't feel I'm getting that extra "ump" from it. (I could be crazy and just used to seeing my horses everyday LOL But I've been looking into trying the Renew Gold. But no one carries it and the cheapest place to buy online is $33 a bag, I currently pay $21 a bag for the Fuel and I'm not 100% sure the price on Seminole..
My horses are by no means under weight any of them but my main mount is very picky, hay and feed wise. He always leaves feed in his bowl and always leaves hay.
I feed two scoops of the fuel (not exactly sure the weight, just the normal plastic scoops) and a solo cup of Empower Boost and all the costal hay he could want.. I have NO GRASS. None. His pasture has a round bale 24-7 and that's it.

I feed the Perform Safe. My horses have never looked or felt better. One of the horses I have on it is suspected of having pssm and she would tie up and show symptoms on other feeds. Since she has been on the Perform Safe she hasn't showed any signs of symptoms. I highly recommend Seminole feeds

I like their feeds but my horses don't. I fed it for several years, the horses would eat it fine then turn their noses up at it. I was constantly needing to switch to a different one to get them to eat it. Also, most of their feeds the first ingredient is soy or soy hulls, I took my mare off all soy products and her hormone issues went away so another reason, I do however, give her Seminole steamed oats now.

I have fed Seminole Feeds since I can remember. Mine now get Perform Safe and Renew Gold mixed, look and feel better than ever. I do have one PSSM, and she thrives on Perform Safe.

Most people don't talk about it because it is a regional feed, with a pretty limited customer base.
I feed it, quite a few large barns in my area feed it. We are all very happy with it.
I started feeding it after I learned about ionophore poisoning here on BHW. Learned that the feed I was currently feeding was coming from an unsafe mill, so looked into other options. Seminole produces an excellent line of feed and does not handle any ionophores whatsoever, so there's zero risk of feed contamination.
