I just got a Reinsman Marlene McCrae yesterday. Love the way it fits both horses.

The quality is beyond shoddy for what I paid for the saddle, I'm sending it back today.

But now I need to know what else I can look at that fits like a flex2? Reinsman and Circle Y behind made by the same folks I'm not too keen on trying another of the same saddle/tree.

Riding a triple creek this weekend, but I like a more ground down flatter seat so I'm not sure how I'll feel about it.

I would try to find a Marlene made by Cactus.

Same tree? Do they ride the same? There were some things I was trying to decide if I just didn't like because it was brand new and not broken in, because it was new to me, or if I just didn't like it. The way the stirrups hang for example was not comfortable under my leg at all, felt really lumpy and I couldn't get them to hang straight

That is Marlene's tree and when she changes companies her trees go with her.

There can be a huge difference between a new saddle and a used one on how it feels. The leather of today pretty much sucks.
