Proverbs 3:1-20
Wisdom affects the head, but it must also affect the heart. Proverbs 3:1 My son, do not forget the law, but let your heart keep my commands. V2 for the length of days and long life and peace they will add to you.
With our heads we have knowledge of God's Word, but our hearts we keep God's commandments. God instructed us to write His commandments on the tablets of our hearts. V 3 that we " might not sin against " Him Psalm 119:11
" Trust in The Lord with all your heart." Proverbs 3:5. Trust is. Big deal, for relationships are built upon it. The Bible says we can trust in The Lord for He is trustworthy.
Do you know why we don't " honor The Lord with (our) possessions" v 9? It's a heart issue! Do you know why we " despise the chastening of The Lord"v11? It's a heart issue!
For it is with God all things are possible
V13 Happy is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who gains understanding.
Father God, guide me today to do all things that bring glory and honor to You Amen
