A 9 year old mare of mine went under the knife 2 years ago for bilateral stifle surgery. She tore a lot of cartilage in both and we weren't sure how she would come back, if at all. But she's too cool of a barrel horse not try!
After trying to get her legged up after injections and several therapies, she just can't stay sound. :( She is a very gritty 1D/2D mare and her confirmation is on point! Her personality is unreal...I just LOVE this mare!!!! I have made the decision today to switch her career from barrel horse superstar to mommy.
