With God all things are possible

| Someone once quipped they suffered from amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think this is true of most believers. We sometimes find ourselves, " I know I have forgotten this before."
We certainly forget the blessings of God, so it is good to recount them. God is so gracious to us that He even gave us a special way to remember our Lord's death until He comes back: the Lord's supper. He wants us to remember important things: He forgives all our iniquities, He heals all our diseases, He redeems us, He loves us, He is merciful to us, He satisfies us, and He renews our strength.
God has given all these benefits to us enough His Son Jesus. Ephesians 1:3. Remember, God laid our sins on Jesus so we would not be punished" according to our iniquities." Psalm 103:10. Sinners must be punished and we are sinners. Our only hope is that the " Lord is merciful and gracious." V 8 toward us and that He chose a worthy substitute to punish in our place. Jesus, God in the flesh, is the substitute of God's choosing. Jesus went to a criminal's cross, was crucified in agony, drank the cup of suffering,and then gave up His life. God dealt with Jesus, who knew no sin as a sinner, so that He could deal with sinners as though they had no sin. Galatians 2:20. Praise The Lord now by recounting the ways He has blessed you.
I have been healed of shattered knee cap, broken ankle, hand, Breast cancer, countless concussions, ruptured appendix, abusive marriage, and a broken heart He healed my soul.. As I grow in Christ I am so much more aware of Jesus presence around me. When I had a blow out, I was on side of road 45 minutes, a truck hauling cars had passed me off and on couple times before my blow out. When I got back on the road, the trailer of cars had come off the truck and was in either middle of road,
I cried all the way to stephenville , understanding my blow out was for my protection from this could have been wreck. Just recently last month, I ran at San Antonio, rode back to stall, as I stepped off. my horse, took reins over her neck , the bit fell out if her mouth, the chicago screw had came off, yes teared up again knowing God protected me.
I pray today to take a step back and remember Gods blessings, and grace(favor).
For it is WITH God all things are possible

I was picking blackberries, last week. One of our kitties followed me out there and after a while, began to growl. At first I thought another jealous cat of ours was out there, too, but she wasn't. So, after Ariat kept growling, I began looking underneath the leaf cover, to see the ground and figure out what she was growling at. I started to get cautious and turned around to step out of the thicket and there was a huge copperhead slithering behind me, going around me to get to the area where I was picking. Ariat was right behind it. I stayed still until it disappeared passed my path, then hopped across, jerked Ariat up by the shoulders and we went back to the house. My husband hadn't been able to get back there and mow - My blackberry picking was done for the season! But how grateful I am for pets God gave us with keener senses than we have! | |
