What do y'all use? He's on Bahiagrass pasture and gets Bahiagrass hay or Bermuda grass hay along with sweet feed ( I was not aware of the feed change as I live hours away)

Needs to be off the grass pasture when the sugar content is highest during the day. Just changing the feed is like giving a low fat dessert after being on the sugar buffett 24/7.

He's up at night so that he isn't on the morning grass

We have bahia pastures too. Sugar content is lowest at night and morning. Highest in late morning and afternoon to early evening. Turnout at night and leave in during the day. This also helps reduce the "grass belly" from all the excess sugar calories. Lots of articles on TheHorse.com right now about this.
