My mind is curious. When an athlete has a saddle/tack/boot line do they get royalties per item sold or do they get paid all up front for the endorsement and thats it? I realize it depends on the deal made but wondering what the case has been in the past.
I know that sometimes a rider simply endorses an item and may recieve free or reduced price items for said endorsement. I am wondering the difference when an athlete has a collection of items named after them. I.E. Lynn McKenzie, Brittany Pozzi, Sheri Cervi, Fallon Taylor, Charmayne, Martha Josey..
