| God IS GOOD! Pause for a moment and consider that statement.
It has become so familiar that it may have lost its power. But believe me, this is an AMAZING TRUTH! GOD IS GOOD!
Some would say, God cannot be good. Have you seen all the evil in the world today? A good God would not allow that to happen. Yet all of the wickness in the world cannot change this fact: even when times are bad, GOD IS GOOD! Others say, God cannot be good. If He is good, then why do we encounter sickness and suffering? Even when health is bad, GOD IS GOOD!
How good is God? Psalm 138:3 In the day I cried out, You answered me, and made me bold WITH strength in my soul. Verse 3 tells us that God is so good He hears us when we call and He answers us. God speaks through Jeremiah the prophet and says, " Call Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know. Jeremiah 33:3. GOD IS GOOD!
God is so good He deserves our love and praise. David said, " They shall sing of the ways of The Lord, for great is the glory of The Lord" Psalm 138:5. David offered praise to God because of His " lovingkindness" and " truth" v 2 I will worship toward Your holy temple, and praiee Your name For Your loving kindness and Your truth;for You have magnjfied Your word above all Your name. GOD IS GOOD! God is so good that even though He is " on high". he " regards the lowly" v 6 though The Lord is high, Yet He regards the lowly; But He the proud He knows afar. This is an AMAZING TRUTH. GOD IS GOOD! God is so good that He promises to finish what He has started in His children. " v 8 The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Yôur mercy, O Lord, EDURES FOREVER;Do not forsake the works of Yôur hands. Philipians 1:6 Paul wrote, He who begun a good work in you will complete it.
Maybe for some reason you have doubted God's goodness and love. Rember once again that His mercy EDURES forever and HE IS GOOD!
For it is WITH God all things are possible,
Father God, guide me today to do all things that will bring glory and honor to You Amen
The Lord's Goodness to the Faithful. Psalm 138:1-8
This past week showed me God's goodness. I'm telling you from experience that our guardian angels are at work! On my Moms street very busy day and night, highway patrols, NEVER stop speeders, YET, at 12 am a lady highway patrol stopped a car in front of my Moms house, she smelled smoke , got my parents out of the house, the tool barn only 7 feet from the back door of their house was on fire. It burned tires , which as you know causes thick black smoke, burned up a riding law mower which I had just mowed that day and refilled gas tank. There were two welders tanks, and a 5 foot butane tank only 3 feet from blazing fire. They didnt blow? Guardian angels people , guardian angels!!! PRAISE GOD! THANK YOU JESUS!! It brings me to tears for GOD'S GOODNESS!! I AM TELLING YOU! YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT PATH OF GOD's GOODNESS , if you are struggling!! Because why would the devil keep attacking you, if you weren't?? Mmmm a GOOD thought for today! PRAISE GOD FOR HIS GOODNESS during and through your struggles because He IS at work FOR you! BE FAITHFUL and you WILL see the GOODNESS. I PRAISE God, for my weekend, I won 4 checks one on each horse YAHOO!! GOD IS GOOD!
