Anyone ride this size gullet on a wider built horse? Fit ok?  Specifically a pozzi with a standard tree?

How wide?
I have one ROUND mare. Flat backed, no withers, just a big wide round thing. The Pozzi wide tree fits her the best out of anything I've put on her.
I've got another one who's not as round, but still wide, and she's got withers. The Pozzi #10 tree fits her the best. I haven't had luck with standard trees on my big wide horses

I do, but not a Pozzi. It's the angle and shape of the bars more than the gullet that makes a saddle fit.

I had a Double J (not a Pozzi) with a 6 and 3/4 gullet. It was way too wide for both of my horses at the time (one was a gelding who was narrow/high withered, the other was my mare that normally fits a 7" gullet with FQHB).
