Location: WI | My open horse gets really anxious anywhere near arena. Before it after runs. I've scored him and try different things, but wondering if there's any supplements that actually work that would help him just chill a notch or two until he realizes is no big deal.?? |

| It's been a few years but I used Oxy Boost paste from Oxygen with very good success. Treating for ulcers might also help. |

I used it on one we had been fighting for a year and tried so many things. This has worked wonders and I did 20 days took her off and she has been great ever since. |

| You'll probably get 100 different answers on products. Or at least 20, everyone has their favorite or sells a particular brand.
I would start with looking into ulcers, bleeding, and general soreness if you haven't already.
Then I'd look at your feeding program, I know personally too many horses fed like racehorses and worked like trail horses, a tired horse is a good horse.
Then I'd consider a calming paste or focus product - what brand you choose to try is really up to you, I think they all probably have some merit. I like the Oxygen or Animal Element products mostly because I know local dealers who will be around the same races I am. |

Location: Missouri | We use and love Animal Element In the Zone paste. We give it at the shows, but I really think giving the AE Detox daily has helped as well. Both are affordable and great products |

where can you get that? Mine has anxiety only before a run. I try to lope her down and take the "anxiety run" out of her and I feel that works good for her. Like she gets that out of her system so she can focus on what she is doing. |

There are several places that sell it . Just look it up and find the cheapest one is what I did. It is kind of pricey but sure made a world of difference in my horse. |

Location: God's country...aka TEXAS | I would treat for ulcers and then use Oxygen relax pellets daily and relax paste before you run. You have to keep the acid in his stomach under control at all times. |

Location: Georgia | I changed my horses diet and got their digestive systems working right. That reduced a lot of their anxiety. I also buy herbs from www.herbaffair.com and make my own version of cur-ost stomach and adapt. I do buy the marshmallow root in bulk size from cur-ost because they have a really good price on it and they test their herbs. |
